Dark Forest ( Like duskwood - if you have played world of warcraft if not google it)
Light Forest ( Like elwynn Forest - if you have played world of warcraft if not google it)
A void area purple crystals, purple sky and like streams of purpe and black light like the aurora borealis.
A jungle lots of vines and stuff
Sky kingdom everything is floating and is attached by bridges etc.
Candy Land sweet houses and stuff
Open desert a couple of ruins with monsters and a couple huge mountains
Volcanic land lots of geysers, smoke etc
The corrupted grove red lakes and rivers, purple leaves dark bark

My main concern is that the developers will lose touch with the anime entirely. I'm hoping they keep it close to the anime in that, for example, there are boars on the first floor, but not so close that everything mimics the anime. On floor 22 of the anime there was the lake and kirito/asuna's house. This type of scenery would be amazing so that it isn't all fighting. These are just examples, however, how it could be different from the anime is the monsters on each floor, the bosses, the the floor concepts (while not losing touch with the game), etc. I hope you take these examples into consideration.

Thats true, but the parts that it did show showed some sort of pattern or theme within the game. So it is somewhat easy to predict what other areas of the game could look like based on the parts that we have already seen.

That and every floor was unique meaning that no 2 floors were ever the same and each had its own climate, fora and weather ect. Every floor had a mid-evil theme to it.

1 floor was European while the other midevile japanese.

Also the anime really didnt describe the floors that well unlike the web version of sao.

Cavern (kind of like the one they fight the salamanders in ALO

well its just a floor of geometric shapes

(couldn't think of that term before.)

sorta like it would make a solid floor, wall, and ceiling except their would a gap between each geometric shape and it would all be on color like chrome or some shit. but the gap between them would be another color or even a ray of light that is being emitted from behind the wall.
